We went the extra mile & cooked this version the traditional way. The smokiness infused in the sauce comes from us slow cooking this fiery one over a charcoal flame.
Goes well as a dipping sauce for hotpots, marinades, sauce mix for your noodles and fantastic as a stir fry ingredient for dishes like mapo tofu or mala stir fry hotpot. In fact, its so good, even the sauce with plain white rice will give you the extra spice in life.
