Bakhoor is a traditional aromatic product that has been used in various Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures for centuries. It consists of fragrant wood chips or powder soaked in essential oils and other nature ingredients, then burned to release a rich and exotic fragrance.
Bakhhoor is commonly used for various purposes, including religious rituals, traditional ceremonies, and as a way to perfume home and spaces.
The word “bakhoor” itself is derived from the Arabic language, where it refers to the process of scenting or perfuming.
