Usage: Upon purchase of the Koi King Growth Koi Food pouch, gently slide open the re-sealable, airtight slot found at the top of the pouch. Using a spoon or your fingers, gently scoop up about a handful’s worth of Koi King Growth pellets. Carefully drop them into the desired fish bowl or fish tank. The natural materials and minerals found in this product make it suitable to be used in natural fish ponds and lakes. The general rule of thumb that needs to be observed when feeding Koi, is that the amount of food given should be consumed by the Koi within 3 to 5 minutes. If there are remains of the product found on the water surface after the stipulated time frame, it would mean that the amount given is too much, and should be reduced for the next feeding. It should also be noted that Koi should only be fed about once a day to avoid overfeeding and thus, causing harm to the Japanese Carp.
