Ingredients: 1/2 kg (17 oz) of frozen beef from Segamat Frozen Food Trading, 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped carrots, green capsicum, red chillies, 1 onion, and scallions.
Ingredients for marinade: 1 tablespoon (0.5 oz) of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon (0.17 oz) of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon (0.17 oz) of cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.
1. First, thinly slice the raw meat and clean them. After cleaning, make sure to drain the water.
2. Then, combine the ingredients for the marinade completely with the meat in a bowl and let it sit there for around 30 minutes.
3. In the meantime, prepare a wok and fry the garlic with some oil until it turns brown.
4. Then, add the meat. Once the water from the meat starts to come out, cook until all of the water is gone.
5. To ensure that the meat is cooked evenly, stir slowly.
6. Once the water has dried up, add carrot, followed by capsicum and red chilli.
7. Then, add the onion and cook until the onion is slightly wilted.
8. Lastly, transfer the meat to a plate, then garnish it with scallions that have been thinly sliced. It can be eaten alongside hot, steaming rice as a side dish.

The meat from cattle is referred to as beef. Humans hunted aurochs in the past and eventually domesticated them. Since then, various cattle breeds have been developed with the aim of improving the quality or quantity of their meat. After pork and chicken, beef is currently the third most popular meat consumed worldwide. People use beef to prepare a lot of cuisines; cuts of beef are usually used for steak, which can be cooked to several degrees of doneness, including well-done, medium-rare, and rare. On the other hand, trimmings are frequently ground or minced, as seen in the majority of hamburgers. Beef of the finest quality is firm, silky, fine-grained, vivid red in colour, and well-marbled.
The various beef cuts serve a variety of purposes. Steaks are typically made from rib eye, sirloin, and tenderloin because of their tenderness and rich marbling. While tough cuts of meat like briskets, which need to be cooked slowly and low, are used mostly for barbeque (BBQ). Depending on where it is from, some beef has a varied flavour. As an example, Japanese beef tastes noticeably sweeter than Australian beef. This is because different countries have different soils, grass, and climates. The cattle's diet, including whether they were given grain or grass, also has an impact.
Our local beef, however, is also not inferior in terms of flavour. All the frozen beef you may possibly need is available at Segamat Frozen Food Trading Sdn. Bhd.
