Usage Instruction: Fried banana chips will become your new favourite dessert. These crisp and sugary snacks are delicious on their own, but their uses are practically endless. Use your imagination because there are a million different ways to enjoy them. Crispy banana slices can be used as a quick, delightful snack and an interesting ingredient in other recipes. Here are a few tips for making the most of the experience:

  1. Eat as a standalone snack: Fried banana chips are delicious. They have a naturally sweet and crunchy taste that makes them enjoyable straight out of the bag. You can munch on banana wafers whenever you crave a quick and tasty snack.

  2. Pair with dips: Fried banana chips can be paired with various dips to add a complementary flavour. For a sweet option, try serving fruit snacks with caramel sauce, chocolate dip, condensed milk or Nutella. Pair anana crisps with spicy salsa, guacamole, or a tangy yoghurt-based dip if you prefer a savoury twist.

  3. Use as a topping: Crushed or chopped fried banana chips can be used as a crunchy topping for desserts or breakfast dishes. Sprinkle them over ice cream, yoghurt, or oatmeal to add a delightful texture and a touch of sweetness.

  4. Include in baking recipes: Crushed fried banana chips can be used as an ingredient in baking recipes. Add plantain chips to cookies, muffins, or bread for an extra crunch and a hint of banana flavour.

  5. Serve with cheese: Fried banana chips can be a unique accompaniment to a cheese platter. Their sweetness and crunch can provide a delightful contrast to the richness of various cheeses. Experiment with different types of cheese to find your favourite pairing.

Certification(s) and Mentioning (s): Toh Min Yuan Trading's commitment to quality, safety, and ethical practices has been recognised by awarding certificates for its fried banana chips.

  1. JAKIM Halal Certified:  Toh Min Yuan Trading is dedicated to providing Muslim customers throughout Malaysia and beyond with high-quality, halal-certified fried banana chips, as evidenced by its attainment of the JAKIM Halal certification.

Packaging Information: Toh Min Yuan Trading understands the importance of proper packaging to maintain the quality and freshness of their fried banana chips. That's why they have used clear plastic airtight seal bags to store their plantain chips product.

The clear plastic bag offers several advantages when storing fried banana chips. Here's why it's an excellent choice:

  1. The transparent nature of the bag allows customers to see the vibrant colours and appetising appearance of the fried banana chips. It gives consumers a clear view of what they are purchasing, showcasing the quality and enticing them to indulge.
  2. The airtight seal on the clear plastic bag ensures that the fried banana chips remain fresh for an extended period. It prevents the entry of air, moisture, and other external elements that could compromise the crunchiness and flavour of deep-fried banana snacks.
  3. The clear plastic bag is a protective barrier, guarding the fried banana chips against potential contaminants. It helps maintain the product's integrity and cleanliness, ensuring customers receive a hygienic and safe snacking experience.
  4. The lightweight and flexible nature of the clear plastic bag makes it easy to handle and store. It takes up minimal space, allowing customers to conveniently carry and store the fried banana chips at home, in their bags, or even while travelling.

Shipping Information: Toh Min Yuan Trading offers two convenient shipping methods for wholesale orders of fried banana hips. If you want to buy large quantities of banana crackers, shipping via a 20-foot container is your best bet. The container holds many fruit snacks so stores can refresh their supplies fast and affordably.

Second, less-than-container-load (LCL) shipments are an option for businesses that don't require an entire container's worth of fried banana chips. Since firms may order only the number of banana nibbles they'll use, this strategy is cost-effective and flexible.

Storage Instruction(s): To ensure that your fried banana chips retain their delightful freshness, flavour, and satisfying crunch, proper storage is crucial. Consider the following tips for effective storage and prolonged enjoyment of your favourite snack:

First, moisture is the enemy of crispy snacks like fried banana chips. Store banana fritters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as exposure to heat and humidity can cause the plantain chips to lose their crunch. Avoid storing banana fritters near the stove, sink, or any other source of moisture.

Then, fluctuating temperatures can affect the quality of the fried banana chips. Keep crispy banana slices away from areas prone to temperature changes, such as near vents or refrigerators. A consistent temperature helps to preserve the texture and flavour.

Fried banana chips can absorb odours easily, so storing them separately from strong-smelling foods is best. This prevents deep-fried banana snacks from absorbing unwanted flavours and maintains their delicious taste.

Fried Banana Chips Overview

Fried banana chips are a popular dessert and street food enjoyed in Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Deep-frying slices of ripe bananas typically make them until they become crispy and golden brown. This sweet and crunchy treat is often served on its own or accompanied by ice cream, condensed milk, or other toppings.

Fried banana chips can be made in various ways to suit different preferences and dietary needs. Traditional recipes often involve coating banana slices in a batter made from flour, and sugar, before deep-frying them in oil, such as coconut oil. Plantains, a starchy variant of bananas, are commonly used for fried banana chips due to their firm texture and ability to hold up well during frying.

Some people opt for baked or air-fried banana chips to make a healthier version. Baking them in the oven with a light coating of coconut oil can yield a crispy texture while reducing the amount of oil used. Additionally, vacuum-fried banana chips are becoming more popular as they are fried at lower temperatures, preserving more of the nutrients and natural flavours of the fruit.

Fried banana chips offer a range of nutrition facts depending on the preparation method and ingredients used. They are a good dietary fibre, potassium, and vitamin C source. However, it's important to note that the deep-frying process can increase their calorie and fat content. Choosing unsweetened banana chips or using alternative sweeteners can help reduce the sugar content.

In addition to its sweet tooth appeal, fried banana chips are a popular snack and street food item in many Southeast Asian countries. They are commonly found in local markets, food stalls, and night markets, serving in small bags or paper cones for convenient consumption on the go.

Whether you prefer the classic deep-fried version or a healthier alternative, fried banana chips provide a delightful combination of sweetness, crunchiness, and the natural flavours of ripe bananas, making them a beloved treat in Southeast Asian cuisine.
