About Us
MyChef is manufactured by Flavor Innovation Sdn Bhd. The meals are inspired by Malay, Nyonya, Asian and Western cuisines with recipes created by Malaysian celebrity chefs. MyChef is the brainchild of Flavor Innovation chairman Datuk Sri Effendi Norwawi. His idea for ready-to-serve gourmet meals initially met with reservations. "How can gourmet meals be made ready-to-serve?", "How do you ensure quality and consistency?", and "What's the target market?" were some of the questions people asked.
MyChef is a kind of food that is easy to set up and does not take long. These meals are healthy, tasty, and made from traditional recipes with no added preservatives or monosodium glutamate. The resulting product comprises 4 MyChef celebrity chef famous in Malaysia comprising Dato' Ismail Chef, Chef Liza, Chef Zam, Chef Florence Tan, and also another chef who had just raised her name in the field of food through the MasterChef competition Chef Ezani, unveiled her ready-to-serve meals of Fettuccine Marinara (spinach fettucine in marinara sauce) and Sweet & Sour Fish (lightly battered fish fillet in sweet and sour sauce with steamed rice).
Each selected chefs has produced 3 products and 2 of the product MyChef Butter Rice Pillaf and Brown Rice Pillaf which are idea from Flavor Innovation itself.
